The Central Examination Office of the faculty manages the final modules of the Bachelor/Master of Arts degree programs as well as the doctorates of the subjects represented at the faculty. You will receive your certificates and all related documents here. Study and examination achievements – apart from the final written and oral examinations – are managed by the study offices of the individual institutes and departments. Bachelor/Master of Education students should contact the University Examination Office for Teacher Education(HPL).

Please note the specified office hours and responsibilities of the individual employees to ensure fast processing.

Responsibilities: Head of the Examinations Office, acceptance of international doctoral candidates at the department, applications in cases of hardship and examination deadlines, appeals against examination-related decisions, final thesis and term paper prizes

Responsibilities: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree administration in Art History, acceptance as a doctoral candidate (registration), doctoral procedure, habilitation procedure

Examination registrations can be submitted digitally. Please submit documents and theses via the mailbox or the parcel box in Philosophicum II (1st floor, to the right of the stairs, in front of the glass door) or in person, during the respective office hours of the individual staff members or by post.

The coronavirus-related changes applicable from 2020 to 2022 have ceased to apply.

Important: Please submit certificates for module examinations / assignments directly to the study office of the respective institute / seminar.
