The Dean’s Office is led by the Dean, the Vice Deans, and the faculty management team. Dean Prof. Frielinghaus, Vice Dean Prof. Nassenstein, and Dean of Studies Prof. Acquavella-Rauch work together to oversee the faculty and represent it externally. Prof. Frielinghaus also serves as Chair of the Faculty Council (FBR). The faculty management team, including Dr. Haug and Deputy Dr. Gupte, with assistance from Ms. Wilke, manages finances, staffing, and the preparation and follow-up of faculty committee meetings. The Dean’s Office also handles the administration of faculty appointments, habilitations, and doctorates (Ms. Bergner). The faculty’s central examination office is also part of the Dean’s Office.
